Job Description

Our client is a UKAS accredited consultancy with a large presence across the UK , providing numerous professional services to clients across the UK.

Due to the business growing rapidly, they are now seeking for an ambitious, commercially focused Asbestos Sales Manager in East Midlands/ Yorkshire and will include applications from Derbyshire, Leicestershire, South Yorkshire and the surrounding areas.

Ideally they are looking for a professional who comes from a strong sales, accounts, asbestos technical, management, business development and asbestos background.

Must have good formal education and must be fully conversant with the asbestos industry.

Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office package.

Must have excellent communication, organizational, presentational, leadership and client facing skills.

Must have significant varied and valid experience working within this role and within the asbestos industry.

Must proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Principal Role:

Cross selling the company’s asbestos consultancy services whilst still managing existing clients.

Identifying and pursuing new business leads – researching.

Networking, contacting clients and building a good rapport with them.

Getting involved with quotations, proposals and Key Performance Indicators.

Overseeing sales staff and ensuring that they carry out the work appropriately and effectively.

Attending meetings and delivering presentations as and when required.

Liaising with potential customers/clients and informing them of the company’s services.

Providing a feedback to the senior members of staff.

Building new sales strategies.

Meeting targets and goals.

Keeping up with current legislation.

In general, the successful applicant will be astute and have the ability to take the business even further and at the same time must be prepared to travel extensively.
