Due to continued growth of the business, this fast growing asbestos company that provides an array of services to a cross section of sectors is actively seeking the services of an enthusiastic, committed and multi-skilled Asbestos Supervisor to join them in the Nottingham area and will include applications from Derby, Rotherham, Leicester and the surrounding areas.

Purpose of the Role:

Covering contracts within the areas specified by the client.

Ideally, the applicant must come from a strong supervisory, technical, auditing, removals, construction, management, asbestos background.

Must have hands on experience working as an operative.

Hold the Asbestos Supervisors License and CSCS card.

Have good formal education and be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Good client facing skills.

Previous hands on experience as an Asbestos Operative are essential.

Extensive experience working within this role and the asbestos industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise asbestos operatives on site.

Oversee work on site and liaise with the clients’ representatives as and when required.

Organising contracts through to completion.

Compile plan of works to be carried out on a daily basis.

Get involved with recruitment of labour force.

Method Statements.

Pricing.

Update and maintain exposure records as and when required.

Build and maintain a good rapport with the company’s clients.

Deal with and provide solutions to problems when they arise.

Collating the relevant information to produce accurate reports.

Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Health & Safety procedures in relation to asbestos.
