Job Title: Asbestos Supervisor (Removals)
Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire
Salary/Benefits: £150 – £220 (day rate) + Training & Benefits

Our client is a professional and well-respected, UKAS accredited Asbestos company. They have a strong presence in the Yorkshire region, and is seeking an experienced Asbestos Supervisor to oversee their portfolio of asbestos removals contracts. Applicants will need strong technical knowledge, as well as excellent interpersonal and management skills. The role will involve interacting with clients on a daily basis, as such, candidates must have robust experience with this, as well as a professional attitude. The company is offering attractive day rates and benefits packages to the successful applicant.

You will be overseeing client contracts across: Leeds, Bradford, Batley, Wakefield, Garforth, Pontefract, Barnsley, York, Selby, Goole, Huddersfield, Halifax, Keighley, Ilkley, Otley, Harrogate, Knaresborough, Sheffield, Rotherham, Mexborough, Doncaster, Thorne, Worksop, Dronfield, Rochdale, Oldham, Bolton, Manchester, Stockport.

Experience / Qualifications:
– Must have a successful track record of supervising teams of asbestos removals teams to deliver projects
– It is preferred that candidates hold the Supervisor Ticket
– Will ideally have a valid CSCS card and / or SSSTS
– Fluent in technical guidelines and proceedures
– Strong leadership and management skills
– Good literacy and IT skills
– Organised and able to prioritise workloads effectively
– Excellent client-facing experience and manner

The Role:
– Supervising teams of asbestos removal operatives to ensure projects are completed successfully
– Monitoring performance of team members to manage overall output
– Making sure works are delivered to agreed budgets and timescales
– Attending meetings on site with clients, prior, during and after works have been completed
– Allocating and managing workloads to effectively
– Ordering materials, as well as hiring / off-hiring of equipment
– Being a key point of contact for clients, answering technical and logistical queries
– Maintaining strong working relationships within site teams as well as clients
– Providing training to teams where needed
– Completing regular reports and discussing progress directly with clients
