Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear.
Salary / Benefits £24k – £38k + Training + Benefits

We are working with an independent and UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy in the North East region. They are now seeking to take on a BOHS P402 qualified Asbestos Surveyor. You will be joining a longstanding team of loyal and hardworking surveyors and will be working independently to carry out the full range of surveying duties across Healthcare, Local Authority, Industrial, and Commercial sites in line with HSG 264 guidelines. Consideration will be given to candidates from: Hexham, Consett, Barnard Castle, Durham, Stockton on Tees, Darlington, Middlesbrough, Redcar, Hartlepool, Peterlee, Sunderland, South Shields, Tynemouth, Ashington, Morpeth.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Holding an industry relevant qualification e.g. BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent is essential to the role.
” Will have experience carrying out surveying services on a mixed portfolio of sites.
” Will have experience working as a surveyor for a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy.
” Well versed in HSG 264 guidelines.
” Familiar using TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
” Good time management skills.

The Role:
” Working on a mixed portfolio of sites to carry out management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys.
” Safely carrying out sampling of ACMs.
” Bagging and labelling ACM samples prior to sending to the laboratory for analysis,
” Carrying out in-depth re-inspection surveys upon completion of work.
” Ensuring work is carried out in line HSG 264 guidelines.
” Using industry relevant systems to produce detailed reports based on site findings.
