Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor.
Location: Bristol, Somerset.
Salary / Benefits £24k – £40k + Training + Benefits

We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join a leading name within the Asbestos industry. They are a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy who hold a national presence, carrying out the full range of asbestos management services across Local Authority, Commercial, Domestic, Healthcare and High Security sites. You will be joining their established team of surveyors in the South West region, carrying out surveys in line with HSG 264 guidelines ensuring to maintain the companies high standards and reputation.
The successful candidate will have good access to the M4 / M5 corridor and surrounding areas: Bath, Trowbridge, Frome, Shepton Mallet, Chippenham, Swindon, Malbrough, Devizes, Andover, Warminster Sailsbury, Shaftesbury, Stroud, Cheltenham, Cirencester, Gloucester, Taunton, Minehead, Weston-Super-Mare, Ilminster, Yeovil, Newport, Cardiff, Barry, Caerphilly, Bridgend, Neath, Monmouth.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Will hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent.
” Will have hands on experience working as a surveyor ideally for a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy.
” Fully conversant with HSG 264 guidelines.
” Good IT skills and familiar with TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
” Excellent communication skills.
” Able to manage workload efficiently.

The Role:
” Carrying out management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys on Local Authority, Commercial, Domestic, Healthcare and High Security sites.
” Undertaking re-inspection surveys upon completion of work.
” Sampling of suspected ACMs on site.
” Ensuring to bag and label ACM samples correctly and sending to the laboratory for analysis.
” Producing comprehensive reports with industry related systems. (TEAMS / TRACKER)
” Excellent knowledge of HSG 264 guidelines.
