Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Sunderland, Tyne and Wear.
Salary / Benefits £ 22k- £34k + Training + Benefits

Our client is an independent and industry leading Asbestos Consultancy who have a strong presence in the North East. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking to recruit a BOHS P402 qualified Asbestos Surveyor to cover Domestic and Commercial sites across the North East. This role would suit a candidate who is looking to join a continuously growing company who can offer regional work, ensuring excellent work / life balance, paid door to door travel, opportunities to gain further Pcert modules, opportunities for over time, and company vehicle.

Consideration will be given to candidates from: South Shields, Tynemouth, Hartlepool, Consett, Gateshead, Durham, Peterlee, Redcar, Darlington, Saltburn-by-the-Sea, Barnard Castle, Hexham, Newcastle upon Tyne, Morpeth, Ashington, Peterlee, Middlesbrough.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Holding the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent is essential to the role.
” Will have a strong background working on site for a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy.
” Able to demonstrate practical knowledge of HSG 264 guidelines.
” Confident using TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
” Will have excellent communication skills.

The Role:
” Undertaking management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys.
” Carrying out sampling on suspected ACMs, ensuring to bag and label correctly.
” Sending suspected ACMs to the laboratory for analysis.
” Undertaking re-inspection surveys upon completion of work.
” Ensuring work complies with HSG 264 Guidelines.
” Producing detailed reports based on site findings using TEAMS / TRAKCER systems.
” Providing clients with excellent consultancy advice.
