Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor.
Location: Billericay, Essex.
Salary / Benefits £24k – £40k + Training + Benefits

We are currently working closely with an established provider of Asbestos Management services in the South East of England who are currently seeking to recruit a BOHS P402 qualified Asbestos Surveyor. You will be able to independently and confidently attend a mixed portfolio of sites to carry out the full range of surveying services in line with HSG 264 guidelines. Candidates will have good access to the M25 and surrounding areas: Wickford, Billericay, South Benfleet, Canvey Island, Southend On Sea, Epping, Harlow, Cheshunt, Enfield, Stevenage, Hatfield, St Albans, Watford, Romford, Hornchurch, Rainham, Erith, Dartford, Grays, Tilbury, Gravesend, Sidcup, Orpington, Sevenoaks, Bromley, Croydon, East Grinstead, Redhill, Crawley, Epsom, Mitcham, Sutton.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Will hold the BOHS P402 qualification.
” Will have extensive experience working hands on as an Asbestos Surveyor on a mixed portfolio of sites for a reputable UKAS accredited Asbestos consultancy.
” IT literate, able to produce reports using industry recognised systems.
” Extensive and up to date knowledge of HSG 264 guidelines.
” Excellent time management skills.

The Role:
” Undertaking management, refurbishment, demolition, and re-inspection surveys.
” Carrying out sampling of materials suspected to contain asbestos.
” Safely bagging and correctly labelling materials suspected to contain asbestos prior to sending for analysis.
” Working in accordance with HSG 264 guidelines.
” Liaising with clients, providing excellent technical support and advice based on site findings.
” Producing detailed reports using TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
” Carrying out surveying duties across Retail, Leisure, Healthcare, Educational, and Domestic sites.
