Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands.
Salary / Benefits £24k – £42k + Training + Benefits

Future Select are specialists within the Asbestos Industry, and we are working closely with a reputable and longstanding Asbestos Consultancy who are recruiting a qualified Asbestos Surveyor. The successful candidate will be working on a portfolio of Commercial and Domestic sites carry out Management & Refurbishment & Demolition Surveys. Our client can offer excellent basic salary, company vehicle, and opportunities for progression.

The successful candidate will be covering contracts across the West Midlands and the M5 corridor and the surrounding areas: Wolverhampton, Coventry, Dudley, Stourbridge, Kidderminster, Worcester, Royal Leamington Spa, Lichfield, Cannock, Rugeley, Stafford, Cannock, Telford, Nuneaton, Worcester, Tewksbury, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Stroud, Cirencester, Swindon, Bristol, Keynsham, Bristol, Chippenham.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Holding the BOHS P402 is essential to the role.
” Experience working for a UKAS accredited company as an experienced Asbestos Surveyor.
” Extensive and up to date knowledge of HSG 264 guidelines.
” Familiar working on a mixed portfolio of sites.
” Excellent communication skills.

The Role:
” Undertaking Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys.
” Ensuring to carry out re-inspection surveys upon completion of work.
” Carrying out sampling of materials suspected to contain asbestos, ensuring to bag and label correctly prior to sending for analysis.
” Using TEAMS / TRACKER systems to produce site specific report.
” Providing clients with excellent consultancy advice.
” Ensuring all work is carried out in line with HSG 264 guidelines.
