Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Cardiff, South Wales
Salary/Benefits: £25k – £42k + Training & Benefits

We are recruiting on behalf of a UKAS accredited Asbestos consultancy, with a strong UK-wide presence and growing client base. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive company who can offer great further training and modules. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and would be comfortable discussing technical issues at length with clients. Our client can consider candidates based in: Cardiff, Newport, Chepstow, Lydney, Bridgens, Pontypridd, Swansea, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Stroud, Cirencester, Yate, Portisead, Bristol, Bath, Chippenham, Devizes, Frome, Warminster, Glastonbury, Bridgwater, Taunton, Swindon, Yeovil, Ross-on-Wye, Hereford.

Experience / Qualifications:
– Must have previous / current experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor for a UKAS accredited company
– Will be qualified with the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent
– Strong technical knowledge, including HSG 264 and UKAS
– Good numeracy and literacy skills
– Ideally will have experience using industry software, such as TEAMS
– Hardworking attitude

The Role:
– Undertaking Management, Refurbishment and Demolition asbestos surveys
– Travelling across a range of client sites, including: commercial, local authority, domestic and public sector
– Conducting some re-inspection surveys
– Safely collecting suspected ACMs from site and bagging correctly
– Writing detailed asbestos survey reports for clients
– Travelling as per company requirements
