Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Luton, Bedfordshire
Salary/Benefits: £25k – £42k + Training & Benefits

Our client is seeking a hardworking and experienced Asbestos Surveyor to service new client contracts, which will include domestic and local authority premises. Applicants will need to be able to demonstrate existing on-site experience, and ideally, you will be comfortable maintaining strong rapports with clients. The company is an independent outfit with a friendly and positive ethos, and excellent further training opportunities for candidates who would like to build on existing experience. Salaries and benefits are competitive.

You will be covering sites across: Luton, Dunstable, Hitchin, Welwyn Garden City, Leighton Buzzard, Milton Keynes, Hatfield, Potters Bar, Biggleswade, Aylesbury, Buckingham, Thame, Chesham, High Wycombe, St Albans, Watford, Enfield, Cheshunt, Harlow, Chigwell, Harrow, Wembley, Slough, Oxford, Didcot, Bicester, Brackley, Maidenhead, Reading, Windsor.

Experience / Qualifications:
– Applicants will have experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor, ideally for a UKAS accredited company
– Must hold the BOHS P402 qualification, or RSPH equivalent
– Proven understanding of UKAS and HSG 264 guidelines
– Good literacy and IT skills
– Strong client-facing and interpersonal skills

The Role:
– Undertaking management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys across a mix of domestic and local authority premises
– Safely collecting asbestos samples from site and storing safely for transit
– Conducting re-inspection survey reports
– Writing detailed survey reports
– Ensuring to conduct work in a professional and polite manner
– Adhering to personal performance targets
– Representing the company in a professional manner
