Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Enfield, Greater London
Salary/Benefits: £25k – £42k + Training & Benefits

Due to winning new client contracts, our client is recruiting for a qualified and experienced Asbestos Surveyor in the South East region. Applicants must be able to demonstrate consistent on-site surveying experience as well as good client-facing communication skills. You will be joining a privately-owned outfit, who holds the UKAS accreditation and well-established team. Our client would prefer candidates to be located around: Enfield, Epping, Harlow, Bishop’s Stortford, Welwyn Garden City, Potters Bar, St Albans, Watford, Potters Bar, Ilford, Romford, Chelmsford, Braintree, Wickford, Basildon, South Benfleet, Southend-on-Sea, Grays, Tilbury, Barking, Rainham, Erith, Dartford, Gravesend, Harrow, Wembley, Luton, Hitchin.

Experience / Qualifications:
– Must hold the BOHS P402 qualification as well as hands-on experience undertaking Asbestos Surveys
– Will have worked within a UKAS accredited asbestos company
– Excellent knowledge of UKAS and HSG 264 guidelines
– Good literacy and numeracy skills
– Able to complete thorough reports to accompany site visits
– Professional manner

The Role:
– Undertaking management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys
– Working across a mix of commercial, domestic and local authority sites
– Collecting ACM samples from site for analysis
– Producing detailed survey reports for clients, including site-specific drawings
– Answering any client queries and providing regular updates
– Travelling in line with company requirements
– Wearing correct PPE at all times on site
