Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland
Salary / Benefits £22k – £40k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Asbestos Surveyor through to Lead Asbestos Surveyor

Profile: An exciting opportunity, with a UKAS accredited Asbestos Company with a national presence has arisen. The successful candidate will be carrying out the full range of asbestos services on Healthcare, Local Authority and Social Housing clients. They are now seeking to employ a BOHS P402 qualified Asbestos Surveyor based in and around the Belfast area. The successful candidate will have experience working on a mixed portfolio of sites, undertaking Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys in line with Health and Safety / HSG 264 guidelines.

Applications will be considered from: Bangor, Carduff, Comber, Newtonards, Ballyclare, Dunmurry, Lisburn, Antrim, Larne.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Must hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent.
” Will ideally have experience working for an established UKAS accredited asbestos company.
” Will have excellent working knowledge of relevant Health and Safety / HSG 264 guidelines.
” Will have excellent communication skills and will be competent in using TRACKER/TEAMS/PDA systems.

The Role:
” Carrying out Management, Refurbishment, and Demolition surveys on a mixed portfolio of clients.
” Using PDA/TEAMS/TRACKER systems to produce accurate and detailed reports for clients.
” Carrying out sampling on suspected ACM’s and ensuring all samples are being bagged and labelled correctly.
” Keeping asbestos registers up to date and provide clients with technical knowledge when needed.
” Building and maintaining excellent relationships with clients.
” Ensuring all work is being carried out in line with relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
