Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
Location: Durham, Tyne and Wear.
Salary / Benefits £22k – £34k + Training + Benefits

Future Select specialise in recruitment within the Asbestos industry. We are working closely with a renowned and privately owned Asbestos Consultancy who are based in the North East. They are now looking to take on an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join their longstanding team. Due to the nature of the role, consideration will be given to candidates who hold the BOHS P403 / P404 qualifications. This role would suit a candidate looking to join a company with a family friendly feel who can also offer regional travel, ensuring a good work / life balance. Consideration will be given to candidates from: Consett, Gateshead, Newcastle upon Tyne, Hexham, Sunderland, South Shields, Tynemouth, Peterlee, Redcar, Middlesbrough, Darlington, Saltburn-by-the-Sea, Barnard Castle, Morpeth, Ashington.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Will hold a combination of the BOHS P402, P403, P404 or RSPH equivalent qualifications.
” Consideration will be given to candidates who only hold the BOHS P403 / P404.
” Having hands on experience working as a surveyor / analyst for a UKAS accredited company is essential.
” Will have in depth knowledge of HSG 264 / HSG 248 guidelines.
” Familiar with TEAMS / TRACKER systems.

The Role:
” Carrying out smoke, leak, background, re-occupation, and personal air testing.
” 4 stage clearances.
” Conducting management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys.
” Undertaking onsite audits.
” Re-inspection surveys to be carried out upon completion of work.
” Working in line with HSG 264 / HSG 248 guidelines.
” Producing detailed reports based on site finding using industry relevant systems. (TEAMS / TRACKER)
” Liaising with clients and proving excellent consultancy advice and support.
