Job Description

Our client is a well-respected asbestos consultancy known for their expertise in asbestos services, with clients throughout the UK. They are currently seeking an experienced, multi-skilled and qualified Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst based in or around the Glasgow area. The ideal applicant will be someone who holds the P402/3/4 asbestos certificates with extensive experience carrying out both analytical and asbestos surveying duties on a range of site/contract types. Applications from Hamilton, East Kilbride, Falkirk, Paisley, and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

Must possess the P402, P403 and P404 asbestos certificates or the equivalent RSPH qualification.
Experience working as an asbestos surveyor/analyst within the asbestos industry.
Hold excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
A good working knowledge of asbestos Health & Safety legislation.
Proficient IT skills including competency using MS Office.

Duties within the Role:

Undertake asbestos 4 stage clearances, smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual, re-occupation and personal air testing.
Carrying out Management, Refurbishment/Demolition asbestos surveys on a variety of properties including commercial and industrial.
Overseeing contractors on site ensuring compliance with asbestos Health and Safety procedures.
Collating and producing comprehensive and accurate asbestos reports.
Build and maintain a strong working rapport with the company’s mixed portfolio of clients.
Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues of all professional levels

Prospective candidates must also be prepared to travel to sites as per the client/company requirements.
