Our client is an accomplished and UKAS accredited asbestos company with a diverse portfolio of clients across the UK. This company is currently offering a valuable opportunity for an experienced and skilled Asbestos Surveyor based in and around the Leeds area. The successful candidate will hold the P402 certificate and will have extensive experience carrying out asbestos surveys on a range of site types including industrial and commercial contracts. Consideration will be given to applications from Wakefield, Bradford, Harrogate, Selby and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience:

Holding the P402 qualification or the equivalent RSPH qualification.
Experience working as a surveyor in the asbestos industry.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Competent in using the Microsoft Office Package.
A good working knowledge of asbestos Health & Safety procedures.

Duties within the role:

Carrying out asbestos Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on various properties, including commercial and industrial contracts.
Collating and producing comprehensive and accurate asbestos reports.
Build and maintain strong professional rapport with clients/customers.
Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with the Health & Safety procedures with regards to asbestos.
