Job Description

Our client is an independent and rapidly expanding asbestos consultancy with a large presence nationwide. Due to current demand they are actively looking to recruit an experienced Asbestos Surveyor based in and around the Newport area. The ideal applicant will hold the P402 certificate and will be experienced in carrying out in depth asbestos surveys on a range of industrial and commercial sites. Applications will be considered from Cwmbran, Cardiff, Caerphilly, Pontypridd and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & experience:

Must possess the P402 asbestos certificate or the equivalent RSPH qualification.
Previous experience working as a surveyor within the asbestos surveyor.
A good working knowledge of asbestos Health & Safety procedures/legislation.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities:

Carry out Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys on a variety of properties including commercial and industrial.
Collate and produce accurate, comprehensive reports.
Build and maintain a professional relationship with clients.
