Job Description
Our established client is a leading name within the ultra-clean air market and well-known for providing a wide range of services to healthcare and pharmaceutical clients. They are currently recruiting for a Cleanroom / LEV Estimator based in and around the Greater Manchester area. The ideal candidate will hold a Graduate degree in Engineering, HDN, HNC or equivalent qualifications. Previous experience within the ultra-clean air is desirable but not essential as the successful candidate will be given full training. Consideration will be given to applicants from, Oldham, Stockport, Wigan and the Surrounding areas.
Experience to the Role:
Will ideally hold a strong technical degrees in Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering/Chemical Engineering background
Experience in undertaking ventilation to healthcare, cleanrooms and laboratories, within health care and life science is desirable.
A good working knowledge of CAD/Solid Works/Revit.
Proven track record of Validating and verifying ventilation systems in accordance with HTM 03-01 regulations.
Able to demonstrate an understanding of compliance and health & safety guidelines.
Ability to manage own time and workload.
Confident in building and maintain client relationships.
Holds strong communication skill.
Duties within the Role:
Reviewing opportunities with contracts managers and business development managers, regarding scope, suitability, and the key timelines.
Providing help in identifying opportunities, using online portals to register interest and manage the online tender process.
Review tender document , Filtering out relevant information to then prepare the bid programme and set up an enquiry folder.
Help to identify the companies key stakeholders, to help understand the procurement route and strategies.
Assist in arranging site surveys in good timing, prior to tender submission.
Liaising with contracts managers and BDM regards specific project preliminaries and attendances.
Prepare and complete cost sheets and quotations for adjudication by the senior team management.
Completing tender documents for submission/sending quotation, drawings and supporting information upon completion of adjudication.
Providing assistance to the senior management team with continued development of a stable an flexible internal estimating system.
Maintain and update standard; estimating and sales documents.
Help with general marketing activities.
Develop product specifications and accompanying literature.
