Job Description
Our established client is a leading name within the ultra-clean air market and well-known for providing a wide range of services to healthcare and pharmaceutical clients. They are currently recruiting for a Cleanroom Validation Engineer based in and around the Bradford area. The ideal candidate will be experienced in carrying out clean room validations in accordance with HTM 0301 and will ideally hold the BOHS P601 and relevant Eastwood Park training. Previous experience carrying out test on LEV systems and fume cupboards will also be advantageous. Consideration will be given to applications from Huddersfield, Wakefield, Leeds, Burnley and the surrounding area.
Experience to the Role:
Will hold experience working as a validation engineer within the critical ventilation / healthcare sector.
Experience of testing LEV’s, fume cupboards, laminar flow cabinets is desirable but not essential.
Will ideally hold the P601 and relevant Eastwood Park Training.
Experience in undertaking a wide range of critical ventilation testing.
Proven track record of Validating and verifying ventilation systems in accordance with HTM 03-01 regulations.
Able to demonstrate an understanding of compliance and health & safety guidelines.
Ability to manage own time and workload.
Confident in building and maintain client relationships.
Holds strong communication skill.
Duties within the Role:
Testing critical ventilation systems within the healthcare sector; validating and verifying the systems in accordance with the relevant industry regulations.
Carrying out airflow and pressure measurements, microbiological air sampling, noise and environmental measurements, auditing of Air Handling Units (AHUs) and re-balancing airflows.
Carrying DOP and HEPA testing.
Report writing and consulting with clients on findings and recommendations.
Maintenance of instruments & equipment. Including, arranging repairs and recalibrations when necessary
Providing support and training to site engineers
