Job Description

Job Title: Commissioning Engineer (Water Treatment).
Location: Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.
Salary / Benefits £22k – £40k + Training + Benefits

Our client is a leading provider of Water Treatment / Commissioning services across the South West. They are now looking to recruit a Commissioning Engineer to work on Educational, Healthcare, Local Authority, and Industrial site bases. The successful candidate will have a strong background in the Water Treatment industry and will be balancing, inspecting, and validating air and water systems, calibrating equipment, and balancing and measuring flow rates. Consideration will be given to candidates with experience in water treatment engineering or with plumbing or electrical background.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Gloucester, Stroud, Cirencester, Bristol, Bath, Chippenham, Swindon, Marlborough, Devizes, Andover, Warminster, Andover, Sailsbury, Trowbridge, Shepton Mallet, Taunton, Ilminster, Minehead, Weston-Super-Mare.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Experience working for an established Water Treatment / Commissioning company, ideally working as a Commissioning Engineer.
” Ideally holding CSA grade 2 or higher.
” Will have excellent knowledge of Health & Safety / CIBSE guidelines.
” Good IT skills.
” Excellent communication skills.
” Excellent water treatment, chemical and technical knowledge.
” Experience working within a Plumbing / Electrical role would be beneficial.

The Role:
” Carrying out balancing, inspection and validations on air and water systems.
” Primary & secondary balancing on CHW and LTHW water systems.
” Ensuring that all equipment is correctly calibrated.
” Efficiently balancing and measuring flow rates.
” Gathering information from site to produce detailed technical reports for clients.
” Liaising with clients, maintain excellent professional relationships.
” Ensuring work is carried out in line with site specific specifications and relevant Health & Safety / CIBSE guidelines.
