Job Title: Dust Extraction Engineer
Location: Leicester, East Midlands
Salary/Benefits: £25k – £40k + Training & Benefits

A busy and well-regarded Ventilation specialist is seeking a multi-skilled Dust Extraction Engineer in the Midlands region. The ideal candidate will have a varied skillset and robust technical knowledge, as the role will require the identification of system failures and making recommendations to clients with a view to complete remedial actions. The role may involve travel due to the on-boarding of new clients, as the firm is in a period of rapid growth. Experience / Qualifications:
– Must have proven experience undertaking a variation of installations and servicing of ventilation systems / components and ductwork
– Excellent industry knowledge, including the BS9999 and TR19 guidelines
– Ideally will hold industry-recognised qualifications / training, including Fire Damper Testing, BESA Air Hygiene
– Good written ability
– Proficient in using IT applications
– Hardworking attitude
– Open to travel when required

The Role:
– Installations, servicing and repairs on Fire Dampers
– Completing repairs and modifications to ductwork and ventilation systems
– Installations of ductwork
– Testing and inspections of Fire Dampers
– Fitting access doors
– Assessing ventilation systems for performance issues and making remedial reccommendations
– Writing regular and detailed service reports
– Working in accordance with industry guidelines and health & safety procedures
– Conducting work in a professional and efficient manner
