Job Description

Due to current situation of the business, this diversified and multi-disciplined that offers professional and quality services, such like asbestos, legionella, environmental and other compliance services to a cross section of clients is actively seeking to employ a home based Fire Risk Assessor in and around the London area. Undertaking works such as, fire plan drawing, fire drills, Fire Training and providing information and advice to clients and staff regarding fire safety. will include applications from, Dartford, Ashford, Basildon, Chelmsford and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience:

Ideally, the applicant must hold the NEBOSH Fire Certificate or NEBOSH Fire Conversion – Technician status with recognized bodies – IFSM/IFPO/IFE would be preferred.

Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Must have good formal education and come from a consultancy background.

Must have good presentational, organizational, people management and client facing skills.

Must be well versed with the Health & Safety procedures and legislation.

Must have a proven track record working within this role

Visiting various Commercial and Industrial sites.

Must have demonstrable experience working within this role and be well versed with the Health & Safety procedures.

Must have a good understanding of the Fire Safety procedures and compliances.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertaking Fire Risk Assessments and Health & Safety Risk Assessments in various industry sectors – commercial, industrial and residential and taking action accordingly.

Providing information and advice to clients, staff with regards to Fire Safety regulations and following procedures.

Building and maintaining a good working relationship with the Health and Safety authorities as and when required.

Dealing with issues appropriately and effectively.

Fire plan drawings, fire drills, fire warden, use of extinguishers, real fire training, briefings, delivering training courses, manuals, etc.

Delivering presentations – training.

Developing a client base.
