Job Title: Health & Safety Consultant.
Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire.
Salary / Benefits £30k – £45k + Training + Benefits

A professional and independent provider of Health & Safety services currently have a position open for a Health & Safety Consultant to join their dynamic team. Traveling across the Midlands / Yorkshire area, you will be carrying out H&S risk assessments, implementing management processes, and working closely with clients to provide ongoing technical advice and support. For the right candidate the client can offer support in gaining further industry qualifications.

Applications will be considered from those with good access to the Yorkshire / M1 region including Rotherham, Doncaster, Barnsley, Scunthorpe, Barnsley, Wakefield, Leeds, Bradford, Huddersfield, Keighley, Chesterfield, Worksop, Mansfield, Nottingham, Beeston, Derby, Loughborough.

Experience & Qualifications:
” NEBOSH general certificate (Minimum)
” Grad IOSH / CMIOSH status would be beneficial.
” Working in a client facing Health & Safety consultancy would be advantageous to the role.
” Will have in depth knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.
” Able to communicate in a professional manner and will have a keen eye for detail.
” Must be able to prioritise workload in line with company / client requirements.

Covering Commercial, Industrial, Manufacturing and Educational sites, providing bespoke Health & Safety Services:
” Carrying out high quality Health & Safety risk assessments to a mixed portfolio of sites.
” Auditing staff on site and dealing with all aspects of Health & Safety.
” Providing clients with comprehensive reports and following up with technical advice, based on site audits and inspections.
” Continuing to manage and develop the company’s client base.
” Undertaking fire risk assessments (type 1/3).
” Delivering training courses when required.
” Liaising with clients via phone / email / face to face.
