Job Title: Health & Safety Consultant / Fire Risk Assessor.
Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire.
Salary / Benefits £35k – £45k + Training + Benefits

We are working closely with an independent Health & Safety Consultancy who hold a strong presence across the Yorkshire / Midlands region, they are now looking to recruit a Health & Safety Consultant / Fire Risk Assessor. You will be carrying out Health & Safety / Fire Risk Assessments across Commercial, Industrial, Manufacturing, and Retail sites providing clients with high standard and detailed risk assessments, and efficiency carrying out investigations on site. Due to the nature of the contracts, the successful candidate must hold a full licence and will be happy to travel in line with client requirements. Our client would also give consideration to up and coming candidates in the industry, that are looking to progress their career with a forward-thinking company.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Will come from a strong Health & Safety background, working for an established consultancy.
” At a minimum will hold the NEBOSH general.
” Holding a NEBOSH fire recognised qualification is beneficial.
” Will have strong knowledge of Health and Safety legislations.
” Able to efficiently organise own work schedule, splitting time between attending site and writing reports.
” Excellent IT skills.
” Will have a professional manner, able to communicate efficiently to clients and colleagues of all levels.
The Role:
” Working on a mixed portfolio of sites, carrying out Health & Safety / Risk Assessment audits.
” Working in accordance with safe working practices.
” Undertaking Fire Risk Assessments in line with client requirements.
” Ensuring client sites comply with relevant Health and Safety legislations.
” Liaising with clients, providing excellent support and advice, ensuring to maintain an excellent rapport.
” Producing detailed Health and Safety / Fire Risk Assessment reports.
” Attending site to carry out investigations when required.
