Job Title: Health and Safety / Fire Risk Assessor.
Location: Bath, Somerset.
Salary / Benefits £30k – £50k + Training + Benefits
We have a reputable provider of Building / Health and Safety services across the UK who are now seeking to take on a Health and Safety / Fire Risk Assessor to join their team in the South West. The successful candidate will have an extensive background of carrying out in depth Health and Safety / Fire Risk Assessments, providing excellent technical advice and support to clients, alongside delivering training courses. For the successful candidate our client can offer a company car / car allowance, profit related bonuses and the opportunity for career development and training.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Bristol, Chippenham, Malbrough, Devizes, Warminster, Andover, Salisbury, Swindon, Trowbridge, Shepton Mallet, Shaftesbury, Yeovil, Ilminster, Bridgewater, Minehead, Weston-super-Mare, Cirencester, Stroud, Cheltenham, Stourbridge.
Experience & Qualifications:
” Holding industry relevant qualification e.g. NEBOSH general, NEBOSH fire or a recognised fire risk assessing qualification is essential to the role.
” Will have a strong background working for an established Health and Safety / Fire Risk Consultancy.
” Will be able to demonstrate exceptional knowledge of relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
” Able to work well in a demanding environment and adapt to company and client needs.
” Good IT skills, able to produce detailed reports.
The Role:
” Conducting detailed Health and Safety risk assessments.
” Carrying out none intrusive (Type 1) fire risk assessments; providing advice pertaining to PAS79 guidelines
” Consulting with clients to discuss requirements prior to carrying out fire risk assessments.
” Producing detailed Health and Safety / Fire Risk reports upon completion of work.
” Working closely with clients to provide excellent consultancy advice and technical support.
” Undertaking investigations when required.
” Ensuring to follow safe working practices.
” Implementing policies and reviewing procedures.
” Conducting training courses.
