Our successful client is a reputable water hygiene/legionella company who provide legionella consultancy servicing clients across the UK. They are currently recruiting for a knowledgeable and versatile Lead Legionella Consultant based in the London area. Successful candidate will ideally be degree educated and will have experience delivering legionella consultancy advice to a varied site base as well as legionella training. Applications from London, Reading, Slough, Watford, Epsom and the surrounding area will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

Will have successfully completed an approved Legionella Risk Assessment course such as City & Guilds or Water Management Society.
Must come from a good educational background and will ideally be educated to degree level.
A good working knowledge of commercial and industrial water systems, more complex systems.
Experience under-taking legionella risk assessments across a varied portfolio.
Previous experience delivering training courses/presentations to professionals will be beneficial.
Proven track record of providing legionella consultancy services to clients.
Competent with Microsoft office package.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage Legionella Risk Assessors and attend sites as and when required.
Involvement with job costings.
Assist with technical support and services.
Carrying out high level Legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 risk assessments.
Delivering legionella training to clients.
Compiling schematic drawings and producing final documents for clients.
Providing recommendations and prices for remedial works, routine control measures through to quotations, and carrying out such works based on the risk assessments.
Undertaking monthly temperature testing and water sampling.
Providing technical consultancy advice.
Surveying of water systems and supplies as per ACOP L8.
Writing up reports and attending meetings with clients to discuss findings when required.
Maintaining and developing a professional working rapport with clients and colleagues of all levels.

Overall, the ideal candidate will contribute their expert industry knowledge and experience, as well as an excellent work ethic to an already established team.
