Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor
Location: Leicester, Midlands.
Salary / Benefits £21k – £38k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Legionella Risk Assessor through to Lead Legionella Risk Assessor

Successful Water Treatment outfit with a long standing team of management and site staff are now seeking an experienced Risk Assessor with sound technical knowledge. Must be competent in carrying out assessments on domestic hot and cold water systems as well as more complex process and cooling; able to demonstrate excellent working knowledge of ACOP L8, HGG274 (1-3) and HTM0401 guidelines. In return the client can offer above average salary, the chance to manage own portfolio of clients and the option to take on further account management responsibility and training into water chemistry and the use of test kits. Due to the nature of the contracts, candidates must be happy to travel nationally.

Due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate will be expected to travel within the role. Applications will be considered from those with good access to the M1 including: Loughborough, Coalville, Leicester, Lutterworth, Kettering, Northampton, Towcester, Milton Keynes, Bletchley, Bedford, Nottingham, Long Eaton, Burton upon Trent, Coventry, Birmingham, Solihull, Tamworth, Dudley, Redditch, Bromsgrove, Wolverhampton.

Experience & Qualifications:
” City and Guilds or WMSoc qualification in Legionella Risk Assessing. (Essential)
” Industry recognised Risk Assessing qualification for cooling towers. (Desirable)
” Hands on experience working as either a Legionella Risk Assessor or Legionella Consultant is essential.
” Experience within a client facing setting, Ideally with experience delivering technical findings.
” Will have good working knowledge of commercial and industrial water systems.

The Role:
” Undertaking technical Risk Assessments on process systems and cooling towers.
” Carrying out Domestic Legionella Risk Assessments on both hot and cold systems.
” Maintain sound knowledge of ACOP L8, HGG274 (1-3) and HTM0401 guidelines.
” Compiling schematic drawings based on risk assessment findings.
” Providing clients with recommendations and prices for remedial works and routine control measures.
” Producing bespoke reports with locations, temperatures of photograph evidence.
” Implementing control measures and monitoring regimes.
” Managing the clients mixed portfolio of Steam boiler, Cooling tower and Closed system accounts.
” Where needed carrying out temperature monitoring and water sampling.
” Managing own schedule, booking and confirming appointments with clients and allocating time for report writing.
” Liaising with clients, continuing to build and maintain a professional relationship.
