Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor
Location: Sunderland, Tyne and Wear.
Salary / Benefits £24k – £35k + Training + Benefits

Our client is a UK leading provider of Water Hygiene / Legionella management services for Local Authority, Healthcare, Educational, and Manufacturing sites. They are now looking to take on a hardworking and independent Legionella Risk Assessor to cover various contracts in the North East / Yorkshire region. The successful candidate will be carrying out risk assessments in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines and creating site specific schematic drawings. You will also be responsible for creating legionella management plans for clients, ensuring that they are aware of measures that need to be taken.

Consideration will be given to candidates from: South Shields, Tynemouth, Newcastle upon Tyne, Hexham, Durham, Consent, Peterlee, Hartlepool, Redcar, Morpeth, Ashington, Saltburn-by-the-Sea, Darlington, Barnard Castle, Middlesbrough, Stockton on Tees, Whitby, Northallerton, Leyburn, Pickering, Ripon, Harrogate, Leeds, Keighley, Bradford, Wakefield, Huddersfield.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Must hold the City and Guilds / WMSoc in Legionella Risk Assessment.
” Will have experience working hands on as a Legionella Risk Assessor for a reputable Water Hygiene / Legionella company.
” Will have a clear understanding of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
” Able to work independently to strict guidelines.
” Excellent communication skills.

The Role:
” Working on a mixed portfolio of sites carrying out legionella risk assessments on hot and cold-water systems in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
” Using information from site to provide clients with detailed legionella reports.
” Creating legionella management plans and ensuring to discuss with clients about implementing the best course of action to prevent legionnaires disease.
” Producing detailed site-specific schematic drawings.
” Providing clients with excellent technical support and advice.
