Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands
Salary / Benefits £22k – £34k + Training + Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Legionella Risk Assessor through to Lead Legionella Consultant

Profile: Leading Water Hygiene / Legionella Consultancy who provide tailored Water Hygiene services to their client base across the Midlands area. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit a professional and hard-working Legionella Risk Assessor to cover contracts across the Midlands. The successful candidate will be working in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines, carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments, water sampling, temperature monitoring and TMV servicing. Experience carrying out plumbing duties would be beneficial to the role but not essential.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Must hold industry relevant qualification i.e., City and Guilds / WMSoc in Legionella Risk Assessing.
” Will have experience working for an established Water Hygiene / Legionella company, ideally within a Risk Assessing role.
” Experience carrying out plumbing duties would be beneficial.
” Excellent working knowledge of relevant HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
” Will have a keen eye for detail.
” Experience using PDA / Tablet systems.
” Must have excellent communication skills and able to organise workload efficiently.

The Role:
” Undertaking Legionella Risk Assessments in line with ACoP L8 / HSG 274 Guidelines.
” Managing work schedule, setting aside days for report writing.
” Providing clients with legionella management plans.
” Producing and working from schematic drawings.
” Water Sampling and Temperature Monitoring.
” Liaising with clients to maintain and continue to build professional relationships.
” Using PDA / Tablet system to produce detailed reports, highlighting RA findings, risk levels and further action to be taken.
