Job Description
Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor.
Location: Bath, Somerset.
Salary / Benefits £25k – £38k + Training + Benefits
We are working closely with an established provider of Water Hygiene / Legionella / Water Treatment management services across the South West region. Due to continued success, they are now seeking to take on a City & Guilds / WMSoc qualified Legionella Risk Assessor to cover Educational, Facilities Management, and Care home sites. Working in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines, you will be carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments in line with company and client requirements. Experience & Qualifications:
” Will hold the City and Guilds / WMSoc in Legionella Risk Assessing.
” Experience using AutoCAD would be beneficial to the role.
” Will have experience working extensively as a Legionella Risk Assessor.
” Well versed in HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
” Able to write technical reports.
” Excellent communication skills.
” Able to prioritise workload in line with company and client needs.
The Role:
” Covering a mixed portfolio of sites to carry out Legionella Risk Assessments on both hot and cold-water systems.
” Ensuring risk assessments are carried out in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
” Undertaking site surveys.
” Providing clients with detailed reports based on risk assessment findings.
” Using AutoCAD to create site specific schematic drawings.
” Carrying out work using schematic drawings.
” Liaising with clients to provide preventative measures, creating specific legionella management plans.
” Working with the internal sales team to provide quotes for further remedial and compliance work.
