Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor
Location: Manchester, North West.
Salary / Benefits £20k – £36k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Legionella Risk Assessor through to Lead Legionella Risk Assessor

Profile: Our client is a reputable and established Water Hygiene / Legionella company who are looking for an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to carry out risk assessments to contracts across the North West region. The successful candidate will be joining an expanding legionella department and will be conducting legionella risk assessments in accordance with ACoP L8 across Healthcare, Hospitality, Industrial, and Educational sites, as well as undertaking L8 compliance duties to hot and cold water systems. This is an excellent opportunity for the right person to grow alongside a successful company and gain further experience in other aspects of the Water Treatment industry.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Holding an industry relevant qualification e.g., City and Guilds / WMSoc in Legionella Risk Assessing is essential to the role.
” Will be well versed in relevant Health and Safety / ACoP L8 / HTM 04-01 guidelines.
” Will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and will be able to build and maintain excellent working relationships with clients.
” Will be competent in using PDA / Tablet systems to produce detailed reports and keep onsite logbooks up to date.

The Role:
” Conducting Legionella Risk Assessments in line with HSG 274 and ACoP L8 guidelines.
” Compiling and producing accurate schematic drawings.
” Carrying out legionella monitoring and sampling regimes to hot and cold water systems.
” Producing site specific reports for clients within specified time frames.
” Building and maintaining excellent working relationships for clients.
