Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor / Water Hygiene Engineer.
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands.
Salary / Benefits £24k – £38k + Training + Benefits

Our client is a privately owned and well-established Water Hygiene / Legionella management company. They are now seeking to take on a Legionella Risk Assessor / Water Hygiene Engineer to cover various contracts across the Midlands region. The successful candidate will be able to carry out risk assessments on hot and cold-water systems, as well as, carrying out various L8 compliance duties such as water sampling, temperature monitoring, TMV servicing and showerhead descales. Experience & Qualifications:
” Must hold an industry relevant qualification e.g., City and Guilds / WMSoc in Legionella Risk Assessment.
” Experience working hands on as a Legionella Risk Assessor and / or Water Hygiene Engineer for a reputable Water Hygiene / Legionella company.
” Fully versed in HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
” IT literate, able to produce detailed legionella reports and update onsite logbooks.
” Experience working on a mixed portfolio of sites.

The Role:
” Carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments on hot and cold-water systems across a mixed portfolio of sites.
” Using findings from risk assessments to produce detailed legionella reports.
” Creating site specific legionella management plans, working closely with clients to ensure they understand measures required to prevent the spread legionnaires.
” Creating and working from site specific schematic drawings.
” Routine water sampling & temperature monitoring.
” TMV servicing and failsafe testing.
” Showerhead descales.
” Flushing of little used outlets.
” Working in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
” Updating onsite logbooks upon completion of work.
