Job Description
Our client is an established and successful national environmental company who provide a wide range of building compliance services a national client base. They are currently recruiting for a LEV / Cleanroom Validation Engineer based in and around the Sheffield area. The ideal candidate will ideally hold the P601 LEV certificate and will be experienced in carrying out cleanroom validation in accordance with HTM-0301 regulations. The ideal candidate will also hold considerable experience testing and commissioning on LEV systems, fume cupboards and cabinets. Applications from Barnsley, Worksop, Huddersfield, Rotherham and the surrounding areas will be considered.
Experience to the Role:
Will hold experience working as a validation engineer within the critical ventilation / healthcare sector.
Experience of testing LEV’s, fume cupboards, laminar flow cabinets is desirable but not essential.
Will ideally hold the P601 and relevant Eastwood Park Training.
Experience in undertaking a wide range of critical ventilation testing.
Proven track record of Validating and verifying ventilation systems in accordance with HTM 03-01 regulations.
Able to demonstrate an understanding of compliance and health & safety guidelines.
Ability to manage own time and workload.
Confident in building and maintain client relationships.
Holds strong communication skill – both written and verbal.
Responsibilities of the Role:
Testing critical ventilation systems within the healthcare sector; validating and verifying the systems in accordance with the relevant industry regulations.
Carrying out airflow and pressure measurements, microbiological air sampling, noise and environmental measurements, auditing of Air Handling Units (AHUs) and re-balancing airflows.
Carrying DOP and HEPA testing.
Report writing and consulting with clients on findings and recommendations.
Maintenance of instruments & equipment. Including, arranging repairs and recalibrations when necessary
Providing support and training to site engineers.
Overall, the ideal candidate will demonstrate their excellent technical knowledge and experience as well as an adaptable and committed approach to their work. Prospective candidates must be prepared to travel extensively as the clients requirements.
