Job Title: LEV Service / Installation Engineer
Location: Coventry, West Midlands.
Salary / Benefits £25k – £45k + Training + Benefits

Professional and successful provider of LEV / Clean Air services are now seeking to take on an LEV Service / Installation Engineer working on predominantly Educational and Industrial sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, commissioning, repairing, and servicing fume cupboards and laminar flow cabinets. Other duties will include; installing PVC / polypropylene ducting and welding. You will ideally have an electrical bias, holding the 17th / 18th electrical edition. Experience & Qualifications:
” Hands on experience working for a reputable provider of LEV / Clean Air services.
” Holding the BOHS P601 is essential to the role.
” Holding the 17th / 18th electrical edition and / or mechanical engineering qualification is desirable.
” Well versed in relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
” Able to work well in teams or independently.
” Organising workload in line with company and client needs.

The Role:
” Attending Educational and Industrial sites to install, commission, service, and repair fume cupboards and laminar flow cabinets.
” Installing PVC / polypropylene ducting and welding.
” LEV installation and testing.
” Carrying out scheduled preventive and reactive maintenance on class 1 & 2 safety cabinets.
” Attending site to carry out risk assessments.
” Demonstrating use of systems to clients upon completion of installation.
” Calibrating, validating, commissioning, and modifying systems when required.
” Producing detailed, site-specific reports based on site findings.
” Working in line with relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
” Ensuring that equipment is installed / commissioned / maintained and repaired in line with manufacturing requirements.
