Job Title: LEV Service / Test Engineer
Location: Basildon, Essex
Salary / Benefits £28k – £45k + Training + Benefits
Our client is a specialist provider of Clean Air / LEV services in the South of England and due to consistent growth and development they are now seeking to take on an experienced and diligent LEV Service / Test Engineer. Working on Industrial, Educational, and Domestic sites, you will be carrying out the inspections, testing, servicing and commissioning for dust and fume extraction systems. You will also be responsible for maintaining and building professional relationships with a mixed portfolio of longstanding clients, providing them with detailed reports and excellent technical advice & support.
Candidates will have good access to Essex / London and the surrounding areas: Wickford, Billericay, Rayleigh, South Benfleet, Southend-on-Sea, Canvey Island, Stanford-le-Hope, Grays, Tilbury, Chelmsford, Maldon, Romford, Hornchurch, Dagenham, Rainham, Ilford, Barking, Erith, Bexleyheath, Dartford, Sidcup, Orpington, Gravesend, London
Experience & Qualifications:
” Will have experience working hands on as an Engineer for a reputable provider of LEV / Clean Air services.
” Will hold the BOHS P601 as a minimum.
” Holding the P602 and / or P604 would be beneficial(desirable).
” Will ideally come from a strong mechanical background
” Holding and electrical qualification would be beneficial to the role.
” Up to date knowledge of relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
” Excellent IT skills, able to produce detailed reports.
” Able to liaise with clients efficiently, building and maintaining professional relationships.
” Ability to organise workload in line with company and client needs.
The Role:
” Carrying out in-depth inspections, testing, servicing and commissioning for dust and fume extraction systems.
” Ensuring work is carried out in line with relevant Health and safety guidelines as well as manufacturing guidelines and requirements.
” Attending sites for both emergency and pre-planned maintenance checks on systems.
” Using information from site to produce detailed reports, submitting them to clients in a timely manner.
” Liaising with clients, ensuring work is carried out in line with agreed timescales and providing excellent technical support and advice when required.
