Job Description
A diversified and forward thinking water treatment/water hygiene organization that provides a broad range of professional and high quality services a mixed portfolio of clients across the UK is actively seeking for an ambitious, self-driven and multi-skilled National Water Treatment Accounts Manager based in or around the Birmingham area and will include applications from Wolverhampton, Coventry, Sollihill, Stafford, and the surrounding areas.
Ideally, they are looking for an individual who comes from a good educational, water treatment/water hygiene, supervision, accounts, management, Legionella administrative and office background.
Must be competent in using the computer – Microsoft Office Package.
Must have excellent communication, organizational presentational and leadership skills.
Must have extensive experience working within this role and within the water treatment industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Developing and opening new key accounts UK wide.
Growing the company’s mixed portfolio of accounts – cooling towers, boiling water, chemical cleaning, etc.
Meeting set targets and developing new business leads.
Managing and running the office/contracts and covering other contracts designated by the client, hence must be prepared to travel extensively.
Managing the engineers, risk assessors and contractor and allocating jobs
Dealing with all paperwork, issuing work sheets to the Water Treatment Engineers and ensuring that all work is entered into the Database.
Managing accounts and sales – Have good contacts with key players within the water treatment industry.
Getting involved with Key Performance Indicators, quotes, etc.
Meeting targets and goals.
Liaising with clients and management – building a good rapport with the clients.
Carrying out temperature monitoring, conducting routine sampling and analyzing water systems and at the same time interpreting the results appropriately.
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on all dosing equipment as and when required.
Completing paperwork for works carried out appropriately and dealing with issues effectively.
