Job Title: Occupational Hygiene Consultant
Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire.
Salary / Benefits £24k – £45k + Training + Benefits

Industry leading provider of Occupational Hygiene / Health and Safety service across the UK are now seeking to take on a qualified and experienced Occupational Hygiene Consultant. You will be attending Private and Public sector sites across the Yorkshire region. Overall, our client is looking for someone who can hit the ground running and has vast knowledge and experience of carrying out air monitoring, COSHH assisters, LEV examinations and Indoor air quality, and emissions testing.

Consideration will be given to candidates from: Rotherham, Worksop, Barnsley, Wakefield, Leeds, Bradford, Keighley, Sheffield, Chesterfield, Huddersfield, Mansfield, Derby, Matlock, Nottingham, Beeston, Stoke-on-Trent, Loughborough, Melton Mowbray, Coalville, Burton upon Trent.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Experience working as an Occupational Hygiene Consultant for an established Health and Safety / Environmental Consultancy.
” Holding a qualification in relation to Occupational Hygiene would be beneficial to the role e.g., W501, W503, W507.
” Will ideally hold 1 or more of the BOHS modules e.g. W501, W503, W507
” BOHS P601 / P602 would be beneficial.
” Able to demonstrate practical knowledge of relevant Health and Safety guidelines and MCERT standards.
” Able to communicate with clients efficiently and professionally.
” Excellent time management skills.
” Keen eye for detail.

Working on both Public and Private sector sites to carry out various Occupational Hygiene duties, including but not limited to:
” Air monitoring.
” COSHH Assessments.
” Fume, dust, hand-arm vibration surveys (HAVS).
” Local exhaust ventilation (LEV) examination.
” Indoor air quality, legionella, and emissions testing.
” Ensuring work is carried out in line with relevant Health and Safety guidelines and MCERT standards.
” Using information from site to produce detailed reports.
” Providing excellent consultancy advice and support to clients.
