Job Title: Pre-Commissioning / Flushing Engineer.
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands.
Salary / Benefits £25k – £45k + Training + Benefits

An industry leading provider of Water Treatment services in the Midlands region are now seeking to take on a Pre-Commissioning / Flushing Engineer. You will be joining a team of longstanding engineers, covering Educational, Hospitality, Healthcare, Leisure, Manufacturing, and Industrial sites, undertaking various pre-commissioning / flushing duties in line with relevant BSRIA / Health and Safety guidelines. The successful candidate will have extensive experience carrying out chemical cleans, measuring and calculating flow rates, BSRIA flushing on heating systems and dosing CHW and LTHW systems with correct chemicals.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Experience working for a Water Treatment company working hands on as a Pre-Commissioning / Flushing Engineer.
” Will be well versed with relevant BSRIA / Health and Safety guidelines.
” Excellent water treatment / chemical / maintenance / technical skills and experience.
” Able to produce detailed and comprehensive reports.
” Excellent organisational and communication skills.

The Role:
” Working on Educational, Hospitality, Healthcare, Leisure, Manufacturing, and Industrial sites.
” Undertaking chemical cleans on client’s new and existing sites.
” Measuring and calculating flow rates.
” Undertaking backflushing of systems.
” Carrying out BSRIA flushing on heating systems.
” Dosing of CHW and LTHW systems.
” Carrying out showerhead descales.
” Legionella sampling and temperature monitoring.
” Liaising with clients, providing support and advice.
” Working in line with BSRIA guidelines.
” Producing detailed reports based on site findings.
