Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Oxford, Oxfordshire.
Salary / Benefits £22k – £34k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Water Hygiene Engineer through to Lead Water Hygiene Engineer

Profile: A busy Water Treatment company supplying Risk Assessment, Clean and Disinfection and Training Services to clients across the South East seeks an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to join their expanding team. Tasked mainly with covering a mixture of sites across the M25 and M3 corridor, carrying out cleans of tanks and down services, sampling and dosing of domestic water systems and closed systems as well as TMV servicing. For the right candidate the client can offer excellent scope for further training into more technical water treatment works.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Will have experience working within the Water Hygiene / Water Treatment industry ideally working hands on as an Engineer.
” Plumbing/ Remedial knowledge would be beneficial to the role.
” Excellent grasp of ACOP L8 guidelines.
” Will have excellent working knowledge of relevant Health and Safety Legislations.
” Able to use company IT systems and build strong working relationships with clients and colleagues.
The Role:
” Working on a mixed portfolio of sites carrying out Water Sampling and Temperature monitoring.
” Carrying out TMV servicing and failsafe’s.
” Showerhead cleans and disinfections.
” Closed system sampling and dosing.
” Routine flushing of little used outlets.
” Disinfections of tanks and down services.
” Using a handheld PDA / Tablet system to keep onsite logbooks up to date.
” Ensuring all work is being carried out in line with relevant Health an Safety / ACoP L8 Guidelines.
