Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Bath, Somerset
Salary/Benefits: £25k – £34k + Training & Benefits

We are recruiting on behalf of a privately-owned Water Hygiene company, who are based in the South West of England. They are seeking a reliable and hardworking Water Hygiene Engineer to service new client contracts in the region. As a company, they encourage further development within their engineers, and can offer great training opportunities for hardworking individuals. Applicants will need to be able to demonstrate good hands-on experience and will be expected to represent the company in a positive manner. Salaries are competitive and benefits include overtime opportunities and a company vehicle.

Our client would prefer candidates to be based locally to: Bath, Trowbridge, Frome, Warminster, Chippenham, Devizes, Calne, Swindon, Cirencester, Stroud, Dursley, Gloucester, Bristol, Portishead, Weston-super-Mare, Wells, Shepton Mallet, Glastonbury, Bridgwater, Taunton, Chepstow, Newport, Cardiff, Barry, Newport, Yeovil.

Experience / Qualifications:
– Must have hands-on experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer
– Excellent knowledge of HSG 274 and ACOP L8 guidelines
– Hardworking and adaptable attitude
– Good literacy and IT skills
– Comfortable discussing technical matters directly with clients

The Role:
– Undertaking a wide range of ACOP L8 duties, in order to ensure client premises remain safe and compliant
– Showerhead descales
– Inspections, cleans & disinfections on cold water storage tanks
– TMV servicing
– Water sampling
– Temperature monitoring
– Completing regular service reports
– Building healthy rapports with clients
– Conducting work in a professional manner
