Job Description

Our client is a well established and successful water treatment/water hygiene company providing quality services to clients and they are now looking to recruit an experienced and hard-working Water Hygiene Engineer in and around the Stevenage area. Applications from London, Harlow, Hertford, and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

Ideally, the applicant will come from a good educational, chemical background.
Possess good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Will hold a City & Guilds qualification – water treatment and legionella – L8.
Must have previous experience working within this role and the water treatment/water hygiene industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Working and managing contracts – dealing with remedial and maintenance works on commercial water systems, chemical dosing units and others.
Monitoring the client’s air and water systems ensuring they comply with the current Health and Safety legislation.
Carrying out cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems, cooling towers and shower heads.
Temperature monitoring, conduct routine sampling and analysing water systems.
Maintenance including chlorination’s and disinfections on water systems, .
Building & maintaining a good working relationships with the company’s mixed portfolio of clients.
Collating and producing service reports.

Overall the successful candidate will be a strong team player with a positive attitude.
