Job Title: Water Hygiene Service Engineer.
Location: Slough, Berkshire
Salary / Benefits £22k- £34k+ Training + Benefits

Independent and expanding Water Treatment / Legionella Company are currently recruiting for a Water Hygiene Service Engineer to join their existing team of engineers in the South East. Keeping with the company ethos of client driven services, you will be travelling across the West London and surrounding areas to deliver professional water compliance duties to both public and private sector clients. Our client understands the importance of investing in their employees and can other training opportunities into other areas of legionella and water treatment as part of their package.

Consideration will be given to candidate from: Windsor, Bracknell, Kingston-upon-Thames, Reading, Woking, Bracknell, Reigate, Basingstoke, Hemel Hempstead, High Wycombe, Oxford, Witney.

Experience & Qualifications:
– Will have experience working hands on for an established Water Hygiene / Legionella company.
– Able to demonstrate a practical knowledge of various water systems including Hot and Cold domestic systems as well as Closed Systems and Cooling Towers.
– Detailed knowledge of ACoP L8 / HSG 274 guidelines.
– Flexible attitude to work and a keen interest in developing within the water treatment industry.

The candidate will be undertaking a wide range of compliance duties, including but not limited to;
– Routine water sampling and temperature monitoring.
– TMV Servicing and failsafes.
– Flushing of little used outlets.
– CWST cleans and disinfections.
– Acid and showerhead descale.
– Calorifier blowdowns.
– Tank inspections.
– Closed system sampling and testing.
– Cooling tower cleans and disinfections.
– Working in accordance with ACoP L8 / HSG 274 guidelines.
