Job Description

Our established client is known for delivering outstanding water treatment duties to a diverse client base. The company is currently hiring for an experienced, commercially focused and dynamic Water Treatment Accounts Manager based in and around the Slough area. The ideal candidate will come from a strong technical water treatment background with extensive experience managing key accounts within a water treatment consultancy including steam boiler and cooling tower accounts for both new and existing clients. Consideration will be given to applications from Bracknell, High Wycombe, Reading, Woking and the surrounding areas as well as applicants around the M4 corridor.

Qualifications and experience:

Will have a strong educational, chemical, technical, accounts, management and contracts background.
Excellent communication and people management skills.
The ability to maintain a strong professional rapport with clients/colleagues of all professional levels.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Package.
Experience in an accounts manager role within the water treatment industry essential.
A good working knowledge of the water industry/legislations.

Key duties:

Carry out service visits and manage workloads effectively – management of cooling towers, steam boilers and closed systems.
Dealing with Health & Safety issues.
Managing the company’s large portfolio of new and existing accounts.
Scheduling workloads to comply with the customers/clients requirements.
Management of workforce.
Preparation of quotations, tenders and all other associated paperwork.
Being involved with training requirements and appraisals.
Building and maintaining a good working relationship with clients and offering technical advice as and when required.
Preparing reports and attending meetings.

Overall, the successful postholder will contribute their wealth of industry knowledge both from a technical and management point of view. Prospective applicants must be flexible regarding travel.
