Job Title: Water Treatment Engineer.
Location: Durham, County Durham.
Salary / Benefits £22k – £35k + Training + Benefits

Our client specialises in delivering the full range of Water Hygiene / Water Treatment / Legionella services to Commercial, Leisure, and Manufacturing sites. Due to consistent growth, they are now seeking to recruit a highly experienced Water Treatment Engineer to join their team of Engineer and Risk Assessors. The successful candidate will be expected to travel around the UK to provide their longstanding clients with Water Treatment / Water Hygiene services. In return, our client will provide the successful candidate with paid travel time, competitive overtime rates and a generous holiday package.
Consideration will be given to candidate from: Barnard Castle, Darlington, Middlesbrough, Stockton-on-Tees, Redcar, Hartlepool, South Shields, Tynemouth, Newcastle upon Tyne, Hexham, Ashington, Morpeth.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Extensive experience working for a Water Treatment / Hygiene company would be beneficial to the role.
” Excellent knowledge of ACoP L8 / HSG 274 guidelines.
” Able to work well as a team and independently.
” Will have excellent communication skills.
” Familiar using handheld PDA systems.

The Role:
” Sampling and analysing Closed systems.
” CLO2 servicing.
” Calorifier inspections.
” Routinely carrying out water sampling and temperature monitoring.
” Showerhead descales.
” TMV servicing and failsafes.
” CWST cleans and chlorination.
” Ensuring work is carried out in accordance with ACoP L8 / HSG 274 guidelines.
” Using handheld PDA to produce detailed reports.
