Job Title: Water Treatment Engineer.
Location: Reading, Berkshire.
Salary / Benefits £24k – £37k + Training + Benefits

A privately owned and professional provider of Water Treatment / Legionella management services across the UK are now seeking to take on a hardworking and experienced Water Treatment Engineer. Covering Industrial, Retail, Commercial, and Healthcare sites in West London and the surrounding areas, you will be carrying out various water treatment duties, including cleans and disinfections, in line with client requirements / timeframes and HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines. Experience & Qualifications:
” Will have experience working hands on as a Water Treatment Engineer for a reputable Water Treatment Management company.
” Able to work on a mixed portfolio of sites.
” Experience carrying out cleans and disinfections.
” Excellent technical knowledge of required chemicals.
” Communicating to clients and colleagues efficiently.
” Excellent IT skills, familiar with updating onsite logbooks.
” Well versed in HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.

The Role:
” Routine water sampling and temperature monitoring.
” TMV install, servicing, maintenance, and replacements.
” Cold water storage tank cleans and disinfections.
” Cleans and disinfections of calorifier & hot water heaters.
” Carrying out mains injections.
” Failsafe testing.
” Flushing of little used / closed outlets.
” TVC sampling for analysis.
” Closed system sampling, analysis, and dosing with correct amount of biocides and inhibitors.
” Working in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
” Updating onsite logbooks upon completion of work.
” Providing excellent technical support and advice to clients when required.
