Job Description
Our client is one of the top players within the water treatment industry in the country providing specialist and professional services to a mixed portfolio of clients. Due to consistent growth and business requirement, they are now seeking for a high calibre and ambitious Water Treatment Regional Sales Manager based in the Greater Manchester area. Undertaking duties such as, dealing with customers/clients regionally, Growing and developing the business strategically and Achieving the Key Performance Indicators. Applications from Oldham, Stockport, Wigan, Bolton and the surrounding areas will be taken into consideration.
Ideally, they are looking for a professional who comes from a chemical, sales, management, accounts, commercial, business development and office background. Holding a degree would be beneficial.
Must have excellent communication, organizational, presentation, leadership, people management and client facing and IT skills.
Must be well versed with the water treatment industry.
Must have a proven track record working within this role and within the water treatment industry.
Focus of the Role:
Identifying and winning new legionella/Water treatment contracts – cross selling their water treatment/legionella services/compliances to a cross section of clients across the UK.
Accountable to the company’s Director and liaising with other members – team as and when required.
Dealing with Accounts/Sales Managers.
Managing workload regionally.
Key Responsibilities:
Running of the business efficiently and supporting the team.
Dealing with customers/clients regionally.
Achieving the Key Performance Indicators.
Growing and developing the business strategically.
Building a good rapport with existing and new clients.
Managing the company’s existing accounts and at the same time generating new business leads.
Managing the sales team – training, appraisals.
Ensuring that targets and goals are achieved.
Dealing with queries appropriately and effectively.
Attending meetings as and when required.
Dealing with the Health & Safety issues – technical issues, etc.
