Job Description
Job Title: Water Treatment / Remedial Engineer.
Location: Cardiff, South Wales.
Salary / Benefits £22k – £32k + Training + Benefits
Multi-disciplinary Environmental Consultancy who specialises in Water Treatment / Water Hygiene services on a varied site base. Due to changes within the business, they are now looking to recruit a Water Treatment / Remedial Engineer to cover the South Wales region. The successful candidate will be confident in carrying out water sampling, TMV installation, servicing, and replacement, deadleg removals and closed system analysis and dosing. Holding experience in carrying out Commissioning services would also be beneficial to the role however our client can offer structured training and development into Commissioning / Pre-Commissioning. For the successful candidate, our client can offer competitive holiday allowance, company pension and attractive salary.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Holding City and Guilds / NVQ L2/L3 in Plumbing is beneficial to the role.
” Experience working in the Water Treatment industry would be beneficial.
” Strong understanding of ACoP L8 / HSG guidelines.
” Organise workload efficiently.
” Good IT skills.
The Role:
” Routine water sampling and temperature monitoring.
” Cleans and disinfections, installation, and chlorination on CWST’s.
” Showerhead descales and disinfections.
” TMV servicing, installation, and replacements.
” Undertaking deadleg removals.
” Mains injections.
” Closed system analysis and dosing.
” Monitoring clients air and water systems.
” Removal, installation, and rerouting of pipework (PCV / Copper)
” Carrying out flushing of little used outlets.
” Working in accordance with ACoP L8 / Health and Safety guidelines.
” Liaising with clients, providing advice / support when required.
” Confidently updating onsite logbooks.
