Job Title: Water Treatment / Remedial Engineer
Location: Slough, Berkshire
Salary/Benefits: £25k – £40k + Training & Benefits

Our client is seeking an adaptable and hardworking Water Treatment / Remedial Engineer to cover contracts in the South East of England. You will be joining an accredited and growing Water Treatment specialist, who offer a robust list of services to their clients. Due to recently winning new contracts, they are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and is able to uphold high levels of service across client premises. It is preferred that candidates will be based in / around: Slough, Reading, Southall, Kingston upon Thames, Harrow, Wembley, Watford, St Albans, Enfield, Woking, Guildford, High Wycombe, Windsor, Maidenhead, Bracknell, Fleet, Camberley, Farnborough, Redhill, Caterham, Oxted, Westerham, Bromley, Croydon, Orpington, Dartford, Erith, Gravesend.

Experience / Qualifications:
– Will have worked as a Water Treatment / Remedial Engineer within a Water Treatment / Legionella company
– Must hold plumbing qualifications, such as: NVQ Level 2 as a minimum
– It would be beneficial to hold the G3 Vented & Unvented, but not essential
– Strong working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
– Good literacy and IT skills
– Comfortable undertaking PPM and reactive works

The Role:
– Undertaking a wide variety of L8 compliance duties, across a range of commercial, local authority, public sector and domestic sites
– Showerhead descales
– TMV servicing and replacements
– Basic flushing on little used outlets
– Deadleg removals
– Minor remedial repairs / replacements
– Inspections, cleans and disinfections on cold water storage tanks
– Water sampling
– Temperature monitoring
