Our client are a well-established and highly successful water treatment company with a large presence nationwide. They are currently looking to recruit an experienced, confident Water Treatment Sales/Business Development Manager in the South East region. Consideration will be given to applications from Essex, Hertfordshire, London and the surrounding areas.
Qualifications & experience:
Ideally, the individual must come from a solid chemical, technical, management, business development and sales background.
Previous experience working in this or similar role within the water treatment industry.
Must have a good understanding and awareness of the water treatment industry and legislation.
Possess good communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficient with Microsoft office package.
The ability to grow and develop the business.
Tending, managing and maintaining existing Steam Boiler, Cooling Tower and Closed System accounts and selling the company’s consultancy water treatment/legionella services.
Incorporating analysis of water treatment processes ensuring that the water treatment programmes are compliant with current guidelines.
Working from existing customer base, will secure, manage and develop key accounts whilst sourcing new ones.
Carrying out service visits and managing workload efficiently.
Building and maintaining a good working relationship with the company’s large and mixed portfolio of clients.
Meeting targets and goals.
Overseeing staff – site and office.
Dealing with any issues appropriately and effectively.
In general, the post-holder will be a good team player with the drive to move the company forward.
