Job Title: Water Treatment Service Engineer
Location: Enfield, Greater London
Salary/Benefits: £28k – £40k + Training & Benefits
Our client is seeking a dynamic Water Treatment Service Engineer to undertake regular testing and analysis on process water treatment systems. You will be joining a busy company who have a strong presence in the South East of England and a varied client base, including: commercial, local authority, industrial and public sector. Applicants will be expected to adapt to changing client requirements, so candidates will ideally need to hold a varied skillset. The role involves travel to: Enfield, Chigwell, Epping, Romford, Dagenham, Ilford, Barking, Rainham, Billericay, Grays, Tilbury, Potters Bar, Borehamwood, Watford, Wembley, Harrow, St Albans, Hatfield, Welwyn Garden City, Bishop’s Stortford, Stevenage, Harpenden, Luton, Uxbridge, Beaconsfield, Slough, Southall, Hounslow, Richmond, Twickenham, Mitcham, Bromley, Croydon, Orpington, Bexleyheath.
Experience / Qualifications:
– Must have experience working as a Water Treatment Service Engineer within a Water Treatment specialist company
– You will ideally hold industry-relevant training / qualifications
– Excellent ACOP L8 and HSG 274 knowledge
– It would be beneficial to hold remedial / plumbing experience, but this is not essential
– IT literate
– Good written ability
– Hardworking attitude
The Role:
– Completing routine testing and analysis of Closed Systems, Steam Boilers and Cooling Towers
– Closed system analysis
– Chemical dosing on systems
– RPZ vale testing and replacements
– Cleans & disinfections on showerheads and cold water storage tanks
– TMV servicing
– Water sampling and temperature monitoring
– Completing detailed service reports
– Providing technical advice to clients as well as giving regular updates on projects
– Travelling to client sites as required
